JACOBABAD: At least 15 people were injured in a blast on a railway track near Thul town of Jacobabad, Express News reported on Thursday.

The blast derailed three bogeys of the Khushhal Khan Khattak Express train, causing injuries to those near the track.

Soon after the incident, the injured - including two women - were shifted to Thul’s Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

Police and Rangers arrived at the site and immediately cordoned off the area.

The Khushhal Khan Khattak Express train has been reportedly attacked twice in the past.

On January 29, a considerable portion of the railway tracks were also destroyed when a huge explosion took place near Thul town.
