BANNU:

Four students were injured in a stampede when activists of Insaf Students Federation (ISF) and Pakhtun Students Federation (PSF) from Bannu Postgraduate College barged into Penal High School in an attempt to shut the school down on Monday.

The federations were protesting against the publication of blasphemous cartoons in Charlie Hebdo and party workers were forcing schools and colleges to close down and join the demonstration. Eyewitnesses said several activists were carrying arms as they entered the school, vandalising property and causing panic.
