Earlier this month, autopsy reports confirmed that the victim, who was found on the roof of a mosque in Green Town on January 3, was molested several times before being strangled.

The teenage suspect was arrested and was being taken to his hearing today, when he tried to escape.
The police began firing to control the situation during which the juvenile offender was shot and died.
Seven suspects had been arrested in connection with the murder but the 17-year-old admitted to the offence and pleaded guilty.

@Ansari: Have you ever heard of a liberal extremist killing in the name of liberalism ?........I have heard and so has the world. of religious extremists killing in the name of religion........so, my friend I am proud to be called a liberal extremist.
Can someone please clarify what happened to the muezzin and other adults who admitted to sexually abusing the boy? Why were they released?
The problem is with the whole system . Its not only with the judicial system. Even the convicted criminals are not executed by the govt leave alone other punishments to other offenders
Bad ways lead to bad endings. Sometimes.
This act suggests that we are now 100% sure that the courts will never do justice in our country.
@aishaazhar55@gmail.com IF some got killed in your house, that does not mean that you killed him. What dumb logic do you people bring. If the child was killed on the roof top of a Masjid, that does not mean that the Cleric was involved. Get your facts straight.
I think the DNA evidence strongly linked the 17 year old to the poor boy whom he killed. So conspiracy theories should not be made.
An obvious Cover up to save the skin of the cleric and mullah brigade. Do they think that people are fools to believe such nonsence that a 17 year old unarmed kid could have escaped so easily.
my question: why this happened in a mosque, the fact it did means that the cleric was involved in the crime.
You dont shoot a juvenile even if he tries to escape. Unless it was a planned encounter.
@Pervez What a liberal retarded comment from this guy .. Killer was a barbar and has nothing to do with cleric .. You liberal extremist !!
Whoever shot this boy should be brought to task!
@pakistani: Agreed. the courts has lost their meanings
the other picture is that people don't trust courts to give them justice so they take matters in their own hand. Wrong as it is, but the solution is for the court to give speedy justice.
if he was a murderer, he could still be punished (despite being 17 year old) in a proper way and perhaps not hanging. But it all has to start from the court. They delay the cases for years and the victim family has to suffer in between.
...and now we are willing to kill children, in order to save a cleric. Religion keeps imploding on itself.........where is the judicial system ?.......where are the army court ?
I'm cynical that it's the result of 'planned' shoot-out to get rid of a 'barbarian' offender. Police ki Ghairat issue / on the spot justice issue to me. A murder suspect is normally either tied with a chain with a police officer or hand-cuffed or brought in tight security. He can't try to escape like this.
