Libraries needed

Letter December 23, 2014
I request deputy commissioner of the district, Balochistan CM to look at abject state of education in the area

KHUZDAR: Khuzdar is the largest district of Pakistan in terms of area. Unfortunately, it is being neglected by the government. There has been no progress, no development in this area for decades. Little or no coverage by the media, lack of educational institutions and lazy lawmakers plague the area as well.

Fortunately, the deputy commissioner of the district is taking decisive steps towards the eradication of terrorism. I request the deputy commissioner of the district and the chief minister of Balochistan, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, to look at the abject state of the educational sector in the area as there is a dire need of libraries in the district. Students face many challenges because of a lack of libraries. It is evident that education is the only tool of prosperity, stability and development of a country. Please provide us with this tool.
