It was a star-studded sangeet ceremony for Manish Malhotra’s niece, Riddhi Malhotra. Riddhi is all set to tie the knot with scion of Talwalkar Gyms, Tejas Talwakar.
The couple hosted an extravagant mehndi that had a galaxy of stars from the film fraternity in attendance, including actors Kareena Kapoor and Malaika Aurora Khan among others. Here’s our pick of the divas that glittered the most.
Kareena Kapoor
The onion-pink colour on Kareena made her stand out from a distance. The Jab We Met star wore a Manish Malhotra lehenga that was immaculately fitted at mid waist and featured intricate mirror work. The choli was sleeveless and embedded completely with glitzy-pink sequins that paired well with her over-sized gold jhumkas. A sheer net dupatta finished up her look and showcased the actor’s full figure to its full potential. What we loved the most was her smile in that audacious coral lipstick.
Alia Bhatt
The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhani was an angelic vision in an embellished white lehenga, also by Manish Malhotra. The shimmery white choli paired with the shiny satin lehenga gave the actor a sophisticated edge. She looked traditional and we fell head over heels. Setting her tresses free and resting over her shoulders, Alia looked celestial. Keeping her make-up to a minimum, the starlet opted for a natural subdued glow, lightly lined eyes and a muted lip.
Parineeti Chopra
The Kill Dil actor rocked a heavy navy-blue lehenga that sat high on the waist and comprised of a thick gold and crimson embossed hem line. The matching full sleeved top was entirely crafted with velour and featured a demure high neck. Letting her velvety ensemble do all the talking, the star kept her accessories to a bare minimum by going for a single statement piece chunky necklace. She added drama to her look by rocking a slightly darker shade of cerise on her lip and matching it with flushed cheeks.
Huma Qureshi
Huma chose an Arpita Mehta mirror-work outfit for the occasion. It consisted of a sleeveless ivory underlay with a sheer lining on top. The detailing on the star’s ensemble was heavy and sparkly. Though it made the lovely lady look elegant at the Sangeet bash, it did nothing to accentuate the star’s curves. The ill-fitting of the dress added unnecessary weight to the The Dedh Ishqiya actor. She polished up her look with a fuchsia pout, dangling earrings and a knotted Bottega Veneta clutch.
Esha Gupta
One look at Esha Gupta and we get weak in the knees. This beauty opted for a bright florecent coloured ensemble, designed by Anju Modi and matched it with rosey lips. With her floor-length lehenga and a fitted lime-green bodice-like choli, Esha was the cynosure of all eyes. She paired her killer outfit with with vintage gold accessories by Anmol jewels, reported bollywoodlife.com. The diva kept her lustrous wavy casual and let her neon ensemble do all the chitchat.
