KARACHI: Pakistan's stand-in captain Shahid Afridi won the toss and surprisingly opted to bat first in the third ODI against New Zealand in Sharjah on Sunday.
Pakistan are playing without the ODI captain Misbahul Haq who sustained a hamstring injury during fielding in the second ODI. Umar Akmal has been added into the playing eleven.
Meanwhile, New Zealand have made three changes to their winning team from the last ODI. Adam Milne, Dean Brownlie and Daniel Vettori have been replaced with Nathan McCullum, Martin Guptill and James Neesham.

Pakistan has no real chance in the Worldcup if they keep Wahab Riaz and Sohail Tanveer as their main striking bowlers. Both of them are incapable of performing under pressure.
