SUKKUR: A woman was gunned down by her brother-in-law on the pretext of karo-kari in Dadpur Jagir village within the limits of the Mauladad police, Jacobabad, on Wednesday. Dadi, 30, was washing clothes when her brother-in-law, Anb Jakhrani, barged into the house, shot at her and fled. Police shifted the body to Civil Hospital, Jacobabad, and later handed it over to the relatives. Neighbours said Jakhrani suspected that his brother's wife was having an extramarital affair with someone in the area. A case has yet to be registered.
