ISLAMABAD: One week prior to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Islamabad, roads leading to Constitution Avenue were blocked by the federal authorities for security reasons, Express News reported on Sunday.

Massive concrete blocks were placed near Nadra Chowk to block the road.

However, roads leading to Margalla and Serena hotels are still open to traffic.

The security authorities plan to block all routes leading to this important road except for one.

PTI is scheduled to hold a massive and what Imran Khan has been calling a decisive rally in the federal capital on November 30.

“Get ready for November 30. Reach Islamabad,” he had told his supporters.

As if the inconvenience caused by the metro project wasn't enough for the residents of Islamabad. What was once a peaceful, beautiful city is now turning into a war zone where the very worthy "leaders" of the country are battling for power. If the residents of the city really value the peace and tranquility of their city, they should take a break from Instagramming scenic views in the capital and hold a massive protest to keep all kind of political nonsense out of the city limits.

Kabir Ahmed | 9 years ago | Reply I appeal to all people weather from PTI or PML-N to think rationally for their country and do not indulge theirselvies with any activity which harm the image of our beloved homeland. Everyone should act wisely in to PTI planned protest on 30 Nov.I wish that the situation may resolve through talks as wise man has many ways to archive his aims with blood. May Pakistan live long.
