KASB Securities: CDC taking steps to facilitate account holders

CDC is taking additional measures to facilitate accountholders of KASB Securities during its current suspension period

Central Depository Company of Pakistan (CDC) said on Friday it has handled 126 transfer-of-holding cases while 24.9 million securities worth about Rs1 billion have been transferred from KASB Securities into respective accounts.


CDC is taking additional measures to facilitate the accountholders of KASB Securities during its current suspension period.

Since the announcement by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), CDC has set up dedicated helpdesks with steadfast staff in order to facilitate investors. Extensive support through CDC call centre and investor account services are also being provided at all branches, it said.

CDC said all requests that it has received so far with respect to KASB Securities have been fulfilled. It said 141 investor accounts have been opened while the CDC call centre has received 600 calls per day on an average in this regard.
