Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan directed officials of the FATA Secretariat to redress the grievances of tribesmen while chairing a meeting at the Governor House on Friday, stated a handout.
According to the handout, Mehtab said he will not tolerate any hurdles in the provision of justice to the people. He urged officials to realise their responsibilities and bring a positive change in their attitudes.
The governor directed them to establish an effective mechanism for the redressal of grievances to minimise and resolve the problems of residents of the tribal areas. Mehtab emphasised the need for the secretariat’s senior officials to play their role in strengthening and empowering the institutions in Fata.
