The PWD Batkhela office was established in 2009 and undertook several development schemes worth billions of rupees in Malakand division, including the construction of roads and bridges. Consequently, a complaint was lodged with NAB Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and the bureau then launched an enquiry.
