naveed | 9 years ago | Reply Govt employes serving in multan city already drawing 1. house rent allowance @ 45% of the basic pay of basic pay scale 2008 so no change will be there. 2. daily allowance a part of travelling allowance is the special rate for multan same like lahore so that will be remain same. 3. previous govt allowed same rate of conveyance allowance according to grades either they serve in multan city or in khanewal or mailsi e.g. grade 16 is allowed Rs. 5000 for in multan as wel as any remot area The only change will be come and that is house requisition allowance. As this allowance is subject to budget so not all the employes will be facilitated may be 20% 50% or round about and this practice is already being followed in lahore. The real thing that all emplyes should be given is allowance of house requisition to 100% employes or at least revision of house rent allowance at current pay scale. Will u believe that a government officer of grade 16 is drawing only Rs. 2727 for house rent in multan. If it possible to hire a house at this rate.
