Two killed in Balochistan landmine blast

QUETTA: Two security forces personnel have been killed and another injured in a landmine blast in Margutt area of Balochistan on Tuesday.

Official sources say unidentified militants had planted a landmine in Margutt some 60 kilometers east of Quetta.

The mine detonated as the security forces vehicle passed by. Landmine went off with a huge explosion when a vehicle of security forces hit the device.

Personnel of security forces were on a routine patrol in the coalmines field in the area.

Two personnel identified as Naib Sobedar Ali Khan and Lance Naik Waheedullah died due to blast while another personnel sustained injuries.

Blast has also damaged the vehicle of security forces.
