SWABI:

Muttahida Qaumi Movement will actively participate in local government and general elections in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, said the party’s K-P chapter president, Muhammad Saif Ali, while addressing activists in Swabi on Monday.

He said they are regrouping activists in the province, claiming anti-state elements have always conspired against MQM to create rifts between Pukhtuns and Muhajirs.

While talking about the separation of MQM from the Sindh government, he said the party has always served poor people and has never been involved in feudalism.

“There is no possibility of forming a coalition government with PPP in the future,” he said. “MQM is the only party which has no place for feudal or land lords.”

Saif added that their main focus is on K-P and after this they will move towards Gilgit-Baltistan to regroup and unite party activists and prepare them for the next general elections.
