Football: KPT downs PAF 3-2 in PPFL

Railway hold Baloch FC 1-1 at the Railway Stadium in Lahore

KARACHI: KPT came back from behind to overcome PAF 3-2 in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) at the Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad on Thursday.

PAF opened the scoring with Mansoor driving the ball in the back of the net in the 34th minute. KPT equalised in the 40th minute and went on to win the game when Junaid scored a double in the 63rd and 70th minute to give KPT the win, after PAF had equalised in the 65th minute with a Mujahid strike.

Meanwhile, in the other match of the day, Railway held Baloch FC 1-1 at the Railway Stadium in Lahore.

Usman Zafar equalised in the 25th minute for the Railway outfit as Sabir Ali had opened the scoring in the 20th minute to give the opponents the lead.
