Social responsibility: RCCI Trust to build free hospital, says school

RCCI Trust is a collective step of the business community to provide basic amenities of life to the poor

Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Asad Mashadi has said that the RCCI Trust will establish a hospital and a school to provide free health and education facilities for the poor.


The RCCI Trust is a collective step of the business community of region to provide basic amenities of life to the poor, he said while addressing traders and industrialists in a meeting held at the chamber on Monday.


Mashadi said it is the duty of those who have wealth to distribute some share from it to those who do not. He said that establishment of RCCI Trust showed that the chamber, along with economic uplift, is also playing a proactive role fulfilling social responsibilities.


He said that a free medical clinic is being run under RCCI Medical Welfare Council in the chamber’s premises, which also provides ultrasound, pregnancy tests, and blood tests under the supervision of a lady doctor, all free of cost.
