KHANEWAL: Robbers took away foreign currency and a mobile phone from a man at gun point on Sunday.

Police said Kashif, a resident of Railway Colony, had arrived from Saudi Arabia for his brother’s wedding on Friday night. They said on Sunday, he was going to Khanewal for shopping when armed men on a motorbike stopped him near Kuhna police station. They took away 7,000 Saudi Riyals, Rs15,000 and a mobile phone from him. They also beat him when he resisted.
