Defending champions Pakistan beat Oman 8-0 in their final Pool B match of the 17th Asian Games in Incheon at the Seonhak Hockey Stadium.
Captain Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Irfan and Abdul Haseem Khan scored two goals each while Muhammad Umar Bhutta and Muhammad Dilber scored one goal each.
On September 25, Pakistan qualified for the hockey semi-finals after defeating arch-rivals India 2-1 in their third Pool B match at the Munhak Hockey Stadium.
Pakistan, India and South Korea have qualified for the semi-finals that will be held on September 30. India will face South Korea, while Pakistan’s opponents will be decided after Japan and Malaysia’s match today.

Pakistan is way behind..
We are way behind our neighbours in the medal tally. They are getting ahead of us in every sphere which includes science, arts and sports.
My Indian friends in US make fun of us behind are backs as losers.
Pakistani government should start hitting the tribal areas and finish of extremists otherwise we will be no where.

Pakistan will play Malaysia and India will play South Korea. The dates, Pakistan Time are as follows. 2:30 PM on 30 Sept. First Semi Final India Vs. South Korea. 5.00 PM on 30 Sept. Second Semi Final Pakistan Vs. South Korea. Final 5.00 PM on 02 Oct. Winner of Semi Final. Matches are held in Incheon (third largest city of South Korea), Above Times are Pakistan Standard time, which is minus 4 hours of S. Korea.
