DERA GHAZI KHAN: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Thursday that those staging protest demonstrations in Islamabad were shameless.  He was speaking to journalists at the Kot Mithan Relief Camp. Sharif said they were staging a drama at the D Chowk while people in the Punjab were drowning. He said Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri had confessed to meeting Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in London. He said they were conspiring against Pakistan. Sharif said those who had defaulted on bank loans now had the audacity to talk about corruption.  Sharif said the ‘London Plan’ was the reason behind the cancellation of the Chinese president’s visit. He said Khan had reneged on his promises and had not bothered to participate in relief activities. Sharif said the government was working to provide for those affected. He said the government would compensate them in two instalments. Sharif said the first instalment would be given before Eid while the second instalment would be paid after a survey had been conducted to assess the losses. He expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made by the civil administration.
