Rekindle your childhood love for a dessert that is fluffy on the inside and crusty on the outside.

Nutella goes with almost anything and what’s better than when the delicious chocolate spread is paired with bananas? What makes it different from your grandma’s regular bread pudding is the decadent soufflé-like feel on the inside.

Compiled from littleferarokitchen.com, this dessert is both easy to make and a treat for your palate. We dare you to stop yourself from giving this recipe a try!

Ingredients

4 croissants

4 eggs

1/2 cup Nutella

1/4 to 1/2 cup milk

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp almond extract

1/2 an orange (zest)

Method:

Step one: Cut croissants in half and spread them generously with Nutella and bananas. Close croissant and cut in quarters.

Step two: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, almond extracts and orange zest.

Step three: Place the croissant quarters in a baking dish and pour the whisked egg mixture on top, ensuring the bread is covered liberally. Cover with foil and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

Step four: Bake the mix at 350 degree in an oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake for another 10 minutes. Serve warm.
