Killings: Four men lose their lives in separate incidents

KHAIRPUR:

Four people were killed and three others injured in separate mishaps near here on Sunday.

A speeding truck crushed a motorcycle on National Highway near Rasoolabad. As a result, Rahim Bux Thebo and Rustam Thebo were killed, while a woman was critically injured. The truck driver fled the scene. The injured woman, Amna, was brought to Hingorja hospital for treatment. The bodies of the deceased were handed over to the family.

In another incident, villager Ghulam Mustafa Odho was shot dead while Muhakumuddin Odho was injured by armed men near Piryaloi. The injured and the deceased were brought to Gharhimori hospital. The incident was caused by old enmity among the Ulra, Odho and Ansari tribes, which has claimed the lives of 17 people so far. Four people from the Ulra clan were killed also killed on Saturday.

Separately, a man, Pervez Ahmed Junejo, was shot dead while another, Adam, was injured by armed men over a land dispute between two groups of the Junejo community. Junejo's body and Adam were brought to Gambat hospital.
