ATC sends Roshan Bangali to jail

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) remanded an accused, Muhammad Roshan alias Roshan Bangali, to police custody till September 18 in the murder case of four police personnel. Roshan was accused of killing four police personnel, sub-inspector Afraz Khan, head constable Muhammad Shafi, and constables Deedar Ali and Akhtar Ali. He is said to have killed them during an encounter with the police on February 3 in Akbar Shah Goth, Ibrahim Haidery with his accomplices, Mir Ghous Ali and Wasi Ahmed Khan, who were already arrested. The investigation officer, Zaheer Ahmed, requested the court that the police needed to keep him in custody to trace his connections and other accomplices.
