Mutual cooperation: Chinese university delegation visits IIUI

A delegation from the LinYi University in China visited the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) on Wednesday and discussed matters of expanding mutual cooperation and signing MoUs.


The delegation was headed by Din Hai Tao of Lin Yi University.

Both sides agreed that measures would be taken to pave the way for an agreement under which work for establishing a China-Muslim World Studies Centre would be initiated as well as sending students and faculty members of the Arabic and Chinese language centres.

On the occasion of the delegation’s meeting with IIUI officials the meeting was attended by, Acting President IIUI Dr. Mohammad Bashir Khan, Director General (AF&P) Gulzar Ahmed Khwaja, Deans and Directors of the university.

Speaking on the occasion, IIUI Rector Dr Masoom Yasinzai said the university’s doors are wide open for mutual cooperation with all academic institutions of the world and after detailed discussions and ground work, measures for materialising and signing the MoU would be taken.

He also thanked the LinYi administration for its keen interest in partnering with IIUI.
