Army chief commends army on outstanding performance in Zarb-e-Azb

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Friday vowed that with high quality, professional skilled troops, all terrorists would be rooted out from their hide outs even from the most treacherous and far off areas. He made these remarks while talking to SSG troops after witnessing joint Field Training exercise of Pakistan and China Special Forces at headquarters Special Services Group, near Cherat. The army chief commended their outstanding performance in War on terror, particularly in Operation Zarb-e-Azb. According to ISPR, three weeks long joint military training exercise Warrior-2014 focused on the joint training of the special operation forces of Pakistan and China which included airdropping and heli-lifting, search and rescue missions and assault on terrorist strongholds. Such joint training exercises have immensely helped to enhance the professional skills and operational preparedness of both the Armies against terrorism, Gen Raheel said.
