KARACHI: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Police in Karachi arrested seven militants belonging to banned outfits during raids in different areas of the city.

Weapons and explosive material has also been seized from the suspects.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Chaudhry Aslam Khan told the media that the arrested suspects were wanted in several incidents of terrorism.

He also said that Iqbal Bajori, who is a member of the Taliban’s Faqir Muhmmad group, was also arrested.
