Children following their celebrity parents’ footsteps is becoming a popular phenomenon. The latest to have been inspired by her parents is Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s daughter, Nysa Devgn. The star couple’s daughter is only 11-years-old and she is already making a short film as part of a school assignment, reported the Hindustan Times.
“It is part of a school assignment and has got nothing to do with the real world of films. She is quite excited about it as she will be working on it with her close friends. Like all proud parents, Ajay and Kajol are also very thrilled about it,” said a source close to the family. “Ajay has only shared this news with a few close friends and family members,” added the source.
Even though Ajay couldn’t be reached for comment on his daughter’s maiden project, he revealed in an earlier interview that she is interested in film and music. “My daughter is into movies, music and gymnastics,” shared the actor.
Ajay’s claim to fame has been his stint as an actor, but he made his directorial debut with U Me Aur Hum in 2008, which bombed at the box office. He is presently planning on directing his second film. Nysa’s grandfather, Veeru Devgan, also directed a film titled Hindustan Ki Kasam in 1999. Seems like filmmaking runs in the family.
