Taking action: Bannu DSP suspended over links with criminals

The IGP has also ordered departmental action against the official.

RISALPUR:


IGP Nasir Khan Durrani suspended the Bannu DSP on Monday over his alleged links with criminals.


According to a handout issued from the Central Police Office (CPO), Sardad Khan was suspended with immediate effect and was directed to report at the CPO.


The IGP has also ordered departmental action against the official, following complaints received by the police department.


Meanwhile, three police officials, including an SHO and additional SHO, were suspended in Risalpur.


Nowshera DPO Rab Nawaz Khan and Shergarh SHO Khadimain Khan were directed to take charge of Risalpur police station, as acting SHO Haji Taj Muhammad Khan was directed to report to Police Lines, Nowshera.
