Knocked down: Motorcyclist hit by car

The same police on Friday arrested a man for allegedly stealing a camera from his employer’s house in NARC Colony.

A man was killed in a road accident and another was arrested for theft in two separate incidents in Shahzad Town during the last 24 hours.


In the first incident, Muhammad Nawaz lodged a complaint with the local police that his son, Muhammad Naveed, along with his wife and son, was travelling on his motorcycle (PN-328) when a speeding car (AK-191), driven by Alafdin Khan, knocked them on the Islamabad Expressway.


They were taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences with multiple injuries where Naveed was pronounced dead and his wife and son were stated to be in critical condition.


The same police on Friday arrested a man for allegedly stealing a camera from his employer’s house in NARC Colony. Iftikhar Ahmed Rao alleged that his employee, Shafqat Hussain, stole a camera worth Rs300,000 from his house.
