Distressing: Fifteen injured in road accidents, snakebites

The victims were travelling on a motorcycle when a speeding car knocked them and sped away.

KALLAR SYEDAN:


At least 15 people were injured in traffic accidents and two from snakebites in various areas of Kallar Syedan during Eidul Fitr, it was reported on Friday. In the first incident, Shafqat Iqbal from Bangla Rajagan and Sanullah from Kallar Syedan were brought in the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital after they were bitten by snakes. Iqbal was bitten on his finger while he was digging in a field and Sanaullah while walking though a forest. Both were sent home after treatment.


Meanwhile, a 70-year-old man fractured his leg in a road accident in Darkali Syedan. Syed Ashraf Hussain was travelling on a motorcycle along with his son when their motorcycle smashed with a roadside pole due to speeding.


In another incident, three motorcyclists were injured on Nara Doberan Road. The victims were travelling on a motorcycle when a speeding car knocked them and sped away leaving them seriously injured. They were taken to THQ Hospital where their condition was stated to be critical.


Moreover, seven people were injured in various traffic accidents in the area.
