DERA GHAZI KHAN:
As many as 22 people were injured when a passenger van fell off a hill road in Fort Munro on Thursday.
Police said a family was going to Fort Munro from Multan on a van for a picnic. When the van reached Quetta Road, it skidded off the road while taking a turn. The passengers said the driver failed to control the vehicle. The passengers included Azra Mai, Mansab Mai, Zarina Mai, Mumtaz Mai, Muhammad Shahid, Mehbub Ali, Asad Akram, Dilawr and Rab Nawaz.
The injured were taken to the trauma centre of the district headquarters hospital.
Doctors later said their condition was stable. The driver of the van managed to flee.
