ISLAMABAD: A man was killed in a collision between a Suzuki pickup and a truck on GT Road in Tarnol on Monday.
Khurshid Khan lodged a complaint with the local police that his nephew, Shah Hussain, was driving a Suzuki pickup when a speeding dumper truck (AJK-8887) coming from the opposite direction hit him near the Motorway Toll Plaza.
He was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), where the doctors pronounced him dead.
The dumper driver abandoned the truck and fled the scene. The police took the truck into custody and are looking for the driver.
