Till the cows come home: Car lifted; cattle stolen

Acting on a tip-off, a police party vehicle search seized 240 bottles of liquor.

Thieves struck two places in Shahzad Town and took away animals and a vehicle during the last 24 hours.


In the first incident, Mazhar Rehman lodged a report with the police that Waheed allegedly stole animals worth Rs200,000 from his cattle pen.

Meanwhile, Basharat lodged a complaint with the same police that his Suzuki FX (TA-320) had been stolen from the Islamabad Expressway.

His vehicle was parked at Stop-III when auto-thieves took it away. Moreover, the same police arrested two persons and seized liquor and a weapon from their possession.

Acting on a tip-off, a police party intercepted Gulzar Shah in Alipur and during a vehicle search seized 240 bottles of liquor.
