Skip the sugar and stick to skimmed milk and the honey will be more than enough to fulfil your health conscious needs. Use this nutritious drink, which combines traditional ingredients in an innovative technique to refresh your senses and quench your thirst, according to a recipe shared on zaiqa.com.

Ingredients:



Almonds (soaked overnight and peeled)

Skimmed milk (three – four glasses)

Sugar (quarter cup)

Honey (one tbsp)

Crushed ice

Cardamom seeds (two – three) 

Method:



Step 1: Add the almonds, sugar, honey and cardamom seeds to half a glass of milk in a blender.

Step 2: Keep blending until the almonds are mixed well and forms a paste.

Step 3: Add the rest of the skimmed milk and spin for a minute.

Step 4: Add the crushed ice and serve chilled.
