Unexplained: Woman murdered in her house

Fida Hussain was riding home when the speeding truck hit him and sped away, leaving him critically injured.

A man and a woman were killed in two separate incidents in the limits of Shahzad Town police during the last 24 hours.


In the first incident, two persons were booked for allegedly murdering a woman at her house in Pindorian. Haider Zaman told the same police that Qamar Abbas and Malik Imran allegedly shot and killed his daughter, Asma Bibi, at her house in Ashraf Town. The police registered separate cases against the suspects.


Meanwhile, a motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a truck at Paracha Chowk on Monday noon. Fida Hussain was riding home when the speeding truck hit him and sped away, leaving him critically injured.


He was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), where he was pronounced dead.
