At least three people, including a woman, were gunned down in separate incidents in Bolan, Jaffarabad and Zhob districts of Balochistan.

“A man killed his sister and another man,” police said, adding that a search operation was underway to arrest the perpetrator behind the twin murders.

The bodies were shifted to state-run hospital for autopsies. “Both were shot in head and chest which caused their death,” doctors said.

Police has registered a case against Muhammad Bux. “Motives behind the killing could be family dispute,” they added. In another incident, armed men opened fire at Rehmatullah and his father Habibullah in Zhob Bazaar. As a result, Rehmatullah died on the spot and Habibullah sustained injuries.

In Khuzdar, a hand grenade was lobbed at the residence of a local PML N leader. A woman was injured in the attack on the house of Shakeel Durrani, who is a member of PML-N’s Balochistan chapter.
