4,000 Baloch inducted in Pakistan Army

The newly inducted soldiers will serve in fighting, technical and support wings of the army.

Four thousand young Baloch men were inducted into the Pakistan Army after their passing out parades in five towns of the province.

Parades were held in Quetta, Sibi, Zhob, Khuzdar and Kashmore.

The newly inducted soldiers will serve in fighting, technical and support wings of the army.

The army will also induct another 10,000 Baloch men, who are currently undergoing training, in the coming months.

Balochistan Governor Zulfiqar Magsi and Corps Commander Lt Gen Javed Zia were the chief guests on the occasion, while the Pakistan Army also announced to convert its Sui cantonment into an education city.

abdullah kayani | 13 years ago | Reply i think so the ppl of balochistan should be educated as well it is the government responsibiity .we should help them in education as much as we can ......lets not forget that punjabis were illiterate to 50 years back but they kept on trying and provided bst education to ther children..the govt will have to do alot in education .....giving few jobs in army will not help balochistan grow the same as other provinces r growing up..a proper strategy is required

One only wishes that provincial and federal gvernmstns also take concrete steps to ensure the prosperity and progress at grassroots levels in Baluchistan. Baloch are a courageous, honest and upright citizens of this country. They deserve better treatment at the hands of state.

Baluchistan is the integral part and province of Pakistan and this irrevocable. Baluchistan isn't going any where so accept the reality and join us to fight and work for the development of this country and your province if you are Baluchi. By the way among these 4000 recruits a huge number belongs to Baloch Pakistanis. The parade was lead by Kamran Megal a Baloch Pakistani. Yes, there is anger but its not to the level or ever will be to that of kashmiris in india, if there are balochs who want independence its in thousands and not in millions. I blame our provincial govt for not doing enough, seriously, punjab and karachi in pakiland didnt start off with anything but raced ahead. Lets educate our people first instead of relying on feudal lorda--which is very rampant in balochistan--for everything!

Baloch whose country is occupied by pakistan how can join the pakistan army in this time when the entire nation is fighting with paki for their freedom......?????
