Demands for a new gas loadshedding schedule have been raised by the All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) on Wednesday.
The new schedule should allow the daily sale of CNG for nine-hours-a-day except Wednesdays, when the operating hours should extend to18 hours, accompanied with a ban on electricity load shedding during working hours and the restoration of proper gas pressure, APCNGA Supreme Council Chairman Ghiyas Abdullah Paracha said while addressing a joint press conference.
Tackling these issues in the supply of CNG is imperative to ease the economic burden on different actors of the economy, elaborated Piracha, and could be alleviated by smoothing out obstacles in energy projects and increasing budget allocation for the same, timely import of LNG and scouting for more reserves.
Another suggestion forwarded to the Ministry of Water and Power proposes the formation of separate queues for commercial and private vehicles outside CNG outlets, added APCNGA Central Chairman Pervaiz Khattak.
