LAHORE: A fight broke out at a court on Saturday.

Shahid Ali Butt and Amir Butt were granted after-arrest bails in Cantt courts in an assault and battery case.

Court staffers said that there were more than seven people present, representing Shahid and Amir.

When the judge announced their bail, Rehmat Ali Baba, a friend of Amir, used foul language and encouraged his companions to attack Shahid’s group.

Soon, both sides were beating each other with fists, kicks and chairs.

During the chaos, judge left the room.

Court staffers tried to intervene and attempted to overpower the men.

When they failed to do so, the police was summoned to control the situation.

When the men saw the police arrive, they stopped fighting and fled from the scene.
