PESHAWAR: Major General Ghayur Mehmood has been replaced as the Inspector General Frontier Corps (FC) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa by Major General Tayyab Azam on Friday, Express News reported.
According to Express News correspondent Jamshed Bahwan, Maj Gen Mehmood has been handed charge of Vice Chief of General Staff at the General Headquarters.
Before being appointed as the IG FC, Maj Gen Mehmood was serving as the general officers command in North Waziristan.
