@ Rafiq A. Tschannen. We are proud that you have Masha Allah such a great mother. Brother, the greatest qualities our mother possess is not to lie and never committed such immoral crimes like this fellow did i.e making and providing a fake B.A. degree to contest elections and lied in court till proved guilty. . @ White Russians. Had this crime happened in highly civilized countries like Japan, Korea or China, the criminal must have committed Suicide by himself before given a life sentence or beheading. . @ ishrat salim. The case of Jamshed Dasti is entirely different. His degree was never proved fake. Unlike other convicts who in their false degree cases refused to accept earlier but later proved guilty in and by the court of law, Jamshed Dasti surrenders himself on the very first appearances in court stating that he misunderstood his qualification of religious degree equivalent to graduate degree (like BA/BSc/B.Com etc) and took resignation before convicted guilty by the court of law. His degree was of FA/FSc level and he not knowingly took it as equivalent to Graduate degree. The court accepted his plea and the case was dismissed with his resignation. Soon after his resignation, the National Assembly passed 18th amendment eradicating the compulsion of Graduate degree to contest elections. Here after this amendment, Jamshed Dasti re-contested elections and Won.
