Robot comes to the rescue: Bomb defused in Peshawar

The bomb was found near a flyover under construction on Charsadda Road in Peshawar.

PESHAWAR: A robot was used to defuse a bomb found near an under construction flyover on Charsadda Road in Peshawar.

According to Express News, the Bomb Disposal Squad was called in after receiving a tip-off that there was a bomb in a suspicious box under the flyover. It was reported that a time device was attached to the bomb.

A CNG station is also near the location from where the bomb was found.

Traffic was stopped to ensure the safety of the public and the area was also cordoned off.

I strongly support the idea of Robots doing the work. Such robots be given to all provinces/cities and main rail/road routes

@Khurram Awan: Question is did we purchase them or we got them as an aid from US? if we paid for them then there is no need to thank and if we didnt then yes thank you USA! happy?
