Author, cricketer, mountaineer: Urologist Dr Farakh Khan passes away

Funeral prayer to be held today.

LAHORE: Eminent urologist and well known first class cricketer Dr Farakh Ahmed Khan, who recently published his outstanding book on Murree, has passed away yesterday after a protracted illness. He was a scholar par excellence and authored several books on various subjects including many papers on health issues. He was the first cousin of Pakistan’s three test captains, Javed Burki, Majid Khan and Imran Khan. He was also a mountaineer. His funeral prayer will be held at 1-A White House Lane Sunder Das Road near Zaman Park, Lahore at 03:00 pm on Friday.
