Near-fatal turn: Seven injured in Shangla road mishap

When the vehicle reached Chagum Pul, it overturned, injuring at least seven people, says police.

Seven people, including two children, were injured when a passenger vehicle overturned near Chagum Pul in Poran, Shangla on Sunday.


Aloch police SHO Muhammad Zaman said a vehicle carrying passengers was headed to Poran from Liwlanai.

He explained when the vehicle reached Chagum Pul, it overturned, injuring at least seven people. Zaman added four among the injured were of the same family from Alpuri.

The SHO said all the injured were rushed to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Aloch for treatment, while a couple identified as Usman and his wife, was shifted to Saidu Teaching Hospital, Mingora due to their critical condition.

MPA Abdul Munam Khan came to the hospital to visit the injured.

He instructed the hospital administration to do everything they could for the victims.
