You were recently spotted at Ajmer Sharif with Norway-based entrepreneur Umar Farukh Zahoor. There were reports of you dating him. Can you confirm this?

While I haven’t talked about it before, I’d now like to say that people are spreading mindless rumours. Taking a picture with a guy doesn’t mean I am dating him. I know Umar Farukh Zahoor sahib, but we are not dating. To be very honest, I’ve never believed in the concept of dating. I am very much single at the moment.

Would you go for an arranged marriage then?

Obviously I am not the kind of girl who will marry anyone that her parents bring a rishta for. I will have a say. But my parents, too, need to agree with my choice. So it is going to be a love-turned-arranged marriage.

Pakistan is portrayed as very orthodox country globally. Is it so?

No, That’s completely wrong. Pakistan is just like any other country with both liberal and traditional people. My father and mother never imposed anything on me.

Has the ISI tattoo controversy died down eventually?

There was no truth in that. It was a morphed picture. They put a tattoo on my arm. I still have a Pakistani passport and can go there any time.

You are considered to be in the same league as controversy queen Rakhi Sawant.

Oh please, give me a break. I have just started my career, and have a long way to go... Inshallah. There is no comparison at all. No one can be like Rakhi and she cannot be like anyone else.
