WASHINGTON: US President Barack Obama is not asking the United States to go to war but to authorise him to “degrade and deter” Syria’s capability to use chemical weapons, US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Tuesday.

“President Obama is not asking America to go to war,” Kerry told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

“He is asking for authorisation to degrade and deter (Syrian President) Bashar al-Assad’s capacity to use chemical weapons.”

US can never be trusted because 83% US' citizens have rejected US' invasion on Syria but US is still insisting on it but US' invasion on Syria would be the biggest ever committed mistake of US......

Is there no end to Mr Kerry's mendacity? How does America keep on finding people like this? I suppose, looking at the bright side, things can only improve, can't they? Then again, that is what I thought when Bush/Cheney departed from the White-House, but the situation has gone from bad to worse.
