LAKKI MARWAT: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Lakki Marwat district leader Razaullah was killed in an attack on his car on Saturday.

Razaullah, who was also known as Malang, was travelling with Momin Khan in a car near Gandi Chowk, Sarai Naurang tehsil when they were ambushed. Razaullah died on the spot while Momin was injured.

Sarai Naurang police official Gul Muhammad Khan said he reached the spot after he was informed Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl MPA Anwar Hayat’s uncle – the QWP leader – had been killed.

Law enforcement agencies surrounded the area soon after, he added.

Razaullah’s brother Rahmatullah said the former was travelling in a car behind his vehicle.

He accused their other brother Fahimullah and his son Asmatullah of lying in wait for Razaullah’s car before opening fire. Razaullah and Rahmatullah were en route to Sarai Naurang from Ojaki Kalan when Fahimullah allegedly attacked them.

Razaullah’s body was taken to Bannu Headquarters Hospital along with the injured Momin, who confirmed the deceased had some personal feuds.

The police raided Fahimullah’s house but the two accused were nowhere to be found.
