Lollywood actor and model Veena Malik has collaborated with Finnish artist Vesa Kivinen to produce a stunning series of portraits and landscapes.
Incorrectly referred to as ‘Indian-born’ by The Independent, Veena Malik volunteered her body as a canvas, allowing Kivinen to paint richly coloured landscape images directly on to her skin.
The five artworks are described as a “dialogue between three dimensional physiology and gesture coupled with the aesthetics of two dimensional painting that coalesce into a singular object of art” and are said to “explore themes from ancient & religious traditions to our contemporary global melting pot”.
Describing the artwork, Malik said: “I feel very glad that Finland’s well known visual artist Vesa Kivinen had called me to work with him. I am here just for the love of art.”

@Nori Nashtic It is not that he couldn't find any girl in Helsinki or whole Finland, his art work was part of cultural exhibition which is celebrated in Helsinki. Helsinki is design city of Europe so they had whole 3 months of cultural festivals here. On topic of Pakistan, few artistic came forward, but feared due to insecurity in Pakistan for back lash, only Veena was brave enough. I visited the exhibition, despite all our imagination, this girl has some courage to do odd things, and at the end promoted Pakistan name. Come on guys give her some credit. @mohsin: Mohsin Sahib, as a JOURNALIST is duty bound to inform her-his readers of bad and good news. So is an Artist to express "MYSELF" which I have no abilities to do. I can not live without true JOURNALIST nor without art and artists. They both are like a religion for me.

The Independent is correct. I have also read elsewhere that she is actually Indian born. She lies about being born in Pakistan so that we accept her in our movies.

Come on ET show real pictures, here in Helsinki the art exhibition was a hit and Veena was certainly the best. Almost 11 speakers who spoke in exhibition show the best side of Pakistan and talked about its long historic art and culture. Veena made me proud...Bravo! Veena. Greetings from Tampere, Finland.
