Pakistan earns Rs2,000b, spends Rs3,000b: Imran Khan

Pakistan is at the verge of bankruptcy, the only way to save it is by eliminating corruption, says Imran Khan.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan said on Friday that the country earns Rs2,000 billion and spends Rs3,000 billion.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, he said, “Out of Rs2,000 billion Rs1,300 billion are used in paying back loans and the rest is spent on the military, leaving no other way but to take more loans to spend on other sectors of the country.”

He said that the country is at the verge of bankruptcy and the only way to save it is by eliminating corruption.

@sohail khan: Imran would never demand tax on agriculture income. PMLN promised that they will bring all income in tax net. They did not put agriculture there.

The country is being ruled by the people who earn huge sums on agriculture. Now Sharif family has entered in poultry and diary farming because it is tax free.

You will observe that no political party, except MQM demands tax on agriculture income. They rather presented a shadow budget where by putting tax on agriculture they reduced defficit and did not levy GST etc.
