Ssgc notice: CNG stations to stay shut for three days this week

Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Monday said that all compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Sindh will remain closed for three days this week.


According to SSGC’s schedule, all CNG stations will remain closed from 8am on Tuesday (July 23) till 8am on Wednesday (July 24).

According to the schedule, another shut down will be observed on Thursday (25 July) from 8am to Friday (July 26) until 8am for 24 hours. The third shut down is scheduled to start from 8am on Saturday (July 27) and will end on Sunday (July 28) until 8am for 24 hours.

CNG stations found operative during this period will have their gas supply disconnected. SSGC authorities have also advised the owners of the CNG stations not to fill gas in such vehicles, where safety of installation of CNG cylinders/piping is not ensured.

SSGC regrets the inconvenience which may be caused to CNG users and industrialists during the above notified shut down period, the presses release said.
