Balochistan Killing: Nephew of CM’s spokesman shot dead

Assailants shot dead a nephew of the spokesman for the provincial chief minister in the Mehnaz area of Buleida Kech district on Friday.

Jan Muhammad Buleidi, information secretary of the National Party and spokesperson for the provincial chief minister, confirmed the incident. “My nephew Chiragh worked for the Balochistan Levies,” he told The Express Tribune.

Giving details of the incident, he said that his nephew was on duty at the time of the attack. He was killed on the spot.

Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch condemned the killing. The chief minister ordered security forces to submit a detailed report on the killing as well as the arrest of the culprits.

Both the National Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s through provincial party president Nawab Sanaullah Zehri and MPA Santosh Kumar condemned the killing.
